FALL Mission Trip to Puerto Rico October 2023

Thank you so much for taking an interest in joining us in Puerto Rico in October, 2023 for a week of fun, engagement, medicine, healing, and relaxation in the beautiful forest of the El Yunque Rainforest.

This trip will be limited to 12 participants.  Registration for this event is required.

We will be traveling to Puerto Rico TENTATIVELY October 2-7 with travel dates on the 2nd and 7th.  Travel dates will be confirmed during the month of June, 2023, but please prepare to be in Puerto Rico for the first week of October.

$1750/per person

Cost includes:

Food:  2 hot meals per day (family-style breakfast and dinner), coffee, tea, juice, boxed lunches, fruit

Transportation:  vehicle transportation to and from airport (if you arrive at a time outside the window the team is in San Juan, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the Hostile), transportation to and from clinics, school, educational opportunities, and activities

Lodging: Hostel and accommodations

Clinic: All medicine, equipment, supplies provided for clinic experience

Each participant will be required to secure their own airfare to San Juan, Puerto Rico arriving on or before October 2nd and departing on or after October 7th. 

We encourage you to get to know and love Puerto Rico!  Many of our participants have family join them before or after a clinic experience and Puerto Rico is an incredible place to bring your family to.  If you plan to pair this trip with a vacation with family, or extend your time on the island, please note that any time spent in Puerto Rico before Oct 2 or after Oct 7 will be at the risk and expense of each participant.

Monday, October 2 - arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico before 3 pm

Meeting with the team at 4 pm

Hostel stay in San Juan

Transport to Utuado, Puerto Rico on the western side of the large island.  This is roughly a 1.5 hour drive and will include a stop at the grocery store to purchase food and essentials for the week

Breakfast

Morning yoga and meditation, acupuncture, massage

Morning yoga and meditation, acupuncture, massage, time spent with school children, planting trees, gardening, tours
