LifeStraw family water filtration system is ideal for base camps, and family/group use. Some benefits of the personal system include:
LifeStraw Community filtration system is perfect for the sustainable communities we're helping to build. This system is a high-volume, point-of-use community water purifier with built-in safe storage, which provides microbiologically safe drinking water for common areas where multiple people dwell or commune. Some benefits of the personal system include:
LifeStraw personal water filtration system is ideal for the individual. Personal use may include backpacking, camping, hiking, emergency preparedness, international mission work, and travel. When working internationally and in post-disaster or austere situations, this is the water filtration our team uses and we always leave them behind with our crews on the ground in foreign nations. Some benefits of the personal system include:
Whether it be a hand filtration system or a community well, we're committed to bringing safe drinking water to the communities in which we serve. Currently, we're raising funds for projects in Uganda, Africa and Vieques, Puerto Rico.
Currently, we are working to provide safe drinking water in Vieques, a small island off the mainland of Puerto Rico that was devastated by Hurricane Maria. The water system has been contaminated and by providing LifeStraw products, we can bring hope to a hurting community. Will you help us?
In Uganda, the price tag on a well runs roughly $5,000 and each day, kids walk miles each way in order to capture water from a stream or another community's well, forcing them to choose drinking water over attending school. Unfortunately, this is their reality. Although LifeStraws won't immediately provide the children with relief from having to walk to capture water, it will provide them with safe drinking water.
Personal use for our volunteers
Individual water filtration systems and community systems are a wonderful option for people on the go. Be it our volunteers while traveling overseas, or community members traveling from one location to another, the smaller, individual water filtration systems provide the ideal opportunity to drink clean water all the time.
There are many reasons we've chosen to partner with LifeStraw.
If you're able to donate a filtration system to the Foundation, we simply ask three things:
Below are our favorite and very much needed items

THANK YOU North Pointe Elementary School in Hebron, Kentucky USA for providing our sponsored orphans in Jinja, Uganda Africa with the gift of clean water! We appreciate your donation that went towards the purchase of a LifeStraw Community Water Filtration Unit! This will desperately help while we continue to raise funds to dig a well.
